Something goes awry with Democracy of the hundred millions. In the
Athens of old, one man’s anger could shift the stride of the entire
populace. Today, your chances of dying in a car crash on your way to
vote are ten times greater than your chances of making a difference in a
national election with said vote. Somewhere, in the foggy realms
between orders of magnitude, human will has left the process.
